He was a painter known for his landscapes interior scenes. He was the youngest of 10 siblings. At 11 months of birth his mother died of cholera. to Madrid in 1885 to settle in the house of his brother. On February 21, 1890

plays a corner of the studio with a model and a painter. In 1898 Casimiro Sainz
died from the infection in his leg.

1903 the city of Torrelavega inaugurated a street named for the service he
rendered to the City.
